"The source of hope," directed by Oscar winner and Golden Globe Russell Crowe ("Gladiator", "A Beautiful Mind"), is an extraordinary epic, amazingly romantic and inspiring story of love overcoming all barriers. The film is set in 1919, four years after the Battle of Gallipoli, which is considered to be one of the bloodiest battles of the First World War. Australian farmer Joshua Connor (Russell Crowe) travels to Turkey to learn the fate of his three sons lost in battle. At first he could break through the bureaucratic wall and social conventions, but with the help of his beauty come Aysha (Olga Kurylenko), and a Turkish officer, Major Hasan (Yilmaz Erdogan) who fought alongside his sons. Connor embarks on a journey through the war-ravaged country to uncover the truth and find peace of mind.
